We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Outbound Call Generalist at New Canvassing Experience (NCE). As an Outbound Call Generalist, you will play a crucial role in representing our 'For Purpose' clients and achieving our ambitious targets for donor recruitment and low attrition rates through Canvassing/F2F Fundraising. You will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calling, primarily focusing on Welcome Calling, but also assisting with other calling tasks such as complaint handling, recruitment calling, and associated administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound welcome and verification calls to donors, expressing gratitude, verifying donor information, and inspiring them to continue long-term giving.
  • Document quality feedback for attrition reporting, monitor and evaluate attrition results, and recommend actions based on the findings.
  • Make outbound conversion and fundraising calls using generated leads, incorporating feedback gathered during interactions, and persuasively pitching the appropriate campaign topics to encourage monthly membership.
  • Organize and track lead experiences, ensuring effective lead retention and callback scheduling through Excel-based processes.
  • Stay engaged and up to date with client projects and NCE training to ensure consistent messaging between the field and the call.
  • Manage call volumes efficiently, considering multiple time zones in which NCE and its partners operate.
  • Provide support to the Recruitment Team by making outbound calls to applicants and assisting with associated administrative tasks.
  • Assist with ad-hoc phone or call center-related projects as required.

Person Specification: Essential

  • Confident and clear telephone manner.
  • Successful track record or understanding of Canvassing/F2F Fundraising.
  • Understanding of key fundraising principles and the ability to express them effectively over the telephone.
  • Professional-level competence in written and spoken English.
  • Accuracy in all written and electronic record keeping.
  • Access to broadband internet.
