About the Opportunity:
We are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented Shipping Technician to join our dynamic operations team to ensure accurate, timely and efficient administration and handling of product/material logistics. You will help us build and ship high tech, high quality products to our customers around the world. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of hands-on production experience. The Shipping Technician performs established processes according to verbal or written instructions, including but not limited to inventory control, and shipping and receiving procedures. The Shipping Tech will own the responsibility for achievement of scheduled production cell output and quality of work produced, including inspection of own work against expected outcome and possesses the communication skills to interact with manufacturing to coordinate logistics, including the coordination of product flow to ensure customer shipments are on time.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilizes shipping software and equipment, associated computer programs required to ensure accurate and timely data entry into our perpetual based accounting system.
Completes appropriate processes and documentation according to established procedures.
Day to day responsibilities
Coordinates shipping of product with appropriate shipping companies according to company guidelines.
Manages flow of product through packaging and final test by working closely with the Packaging / Test Team to ensure weekly / monthly shipping goals are met
Ships product daily according to established procedure, verifies accuracy and updates daily shipping log and other appropriate shipping reports.
Understands and maintains effective relationships with internal and external suppliers and customers
Works with the Ship to Stock Coordinator to ensure product is prepared for shipment in a timely fashion
Participates and provides active support for those activities related to Quality Management System (ISO 9000:2000)

About YOU:
The right candidate will have relevant prior experience, a High School diplioma or GED, and is able to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment. It will be important for the candidate seleted for this role to have an appreciation of the requirements of internal and external customers, establishes good customer relationships, has a strong customer orientation, usses communication skills effectively, listens actively and respects the views of others even if they are not agreed with and builds relationships of trust and influence with key contacts.

Plans in order to meet own objectives. Puts in place monitoring processes and makes appropriate adjustments when progress is not as planned or when requirements change. Plans own time to maximum effect. High level of personal organisation.

Reaches decisions in an objective manner without compromising product quality and with an understanding of the interests of the business.

Salary: In accordance with California law, the expected annual salary range for this position is between $50,000 - $60,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
