Who We Need:

The Compliance Monitoring Analyst assists with compliance reports and updating loan files as needed. Duties include, but not limited to, reviewing loans, mailing all state and federal disclosures, notices, and appraisals for non-electronic transactions as well as reviewing loans and loan data to ensure that all requirements for TRID, HMDA Reporting and ECOA requirements are complete and met. This role provides general support to the Compliance Monitoring Manager and may also perform functions of the mailroom, Document Compliance Specialist and Compliance HMDA Specialist teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform data analysis, accurate data input and updates into the loan system of record.
  • Assist with review of compliance reports and take required action on loans to ensure compliance with ECOA.
  • Assist with review of compliance reports and take required action on loans to ensure compliance with the IL Anti-Predatory Lending Database.
  • Assist with various daily, weekly and monthly compliance reports to ensure compliance with HMDA, TRID and ECOA.
  • Review loans in various workflows, including but not limited to, Disclosure Action Review, Manual COC, and Loan Cancellation.
  • May review intake, and scan loan documents as well as email and mail required documentation.
  • Complete extensive loan reviews to ensure federal, state and company requirements are met.
  • Maintain working knowledge of office policies, procedures and regulatory requirements while demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics.
  • Effectively manages multiple daily demands and competing priorities.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the Compliance Monitoring Manager.

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant field, or 4-6 years equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years experience working within Octane
  • At least 2 years knowledge and experience with Cardinal specific systems including, but not limited to, Octane of TILA, ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, and FCRA
  • Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and perform constantly changing tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate responsibilities for multifaceted direction and planning
  • Sound judgment skills essential for making quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, willing to work in multiple areas, while also have the ability to work independently with a high level of motivation and initiative
  • Working knowledge of Google software including Docs, Sheets, and Forms
  • Possess excellent listening, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail

The expected base salary for this position ranges from forty two thousand dollars to sixty five thousand dollars, determined based on the applicant's experience, skillset, education, training, certificates, and licenses.
