Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Material Distribution Handling Support 3 to join our team of diverse, qualified individuals! This position is located on site in El Segundo, California.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data
  • Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment
  • Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials
  • Prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading
  • Routes materials to destinations
  • May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment
  • Purchasing, receiving items, stocking items in inventory, assembling kits from bill of materials

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Active Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Warehouse experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Salary Range: $47,600 USD - $79,300 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
