Department/Organization: 505171 - Supply Store - Ferguson

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some weekends and extended hours

Job Summary: This position is responsible for planning, directing and supervising the cashier operation at all locations. On a daily basis, the person in this position uses the computerized management system for processing customers through P.O.S., assisting customers with questions, assisting with merchandising the convenience item area of the Store. This person also answers all cashiers' questions as needed.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent and at least two (2) years of experience as a Cashier supervisor or the equivalent and three (3) years of retail experience. Computerized point of sale system and adding machine experience. Must have good oral, written and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Extensive customer service experience and skills in a retail environment that parallels the functions of this position. Experience with software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
