Hiring Part-time daycare attendants

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: This is for a part-time position (could grow into full-time) as daycare attendant. This is a fast paced job that requires multitasking. This position is 80% cleaning and maintaining the facility so please do not apply if you dislike cleaning.
Paw La La is a luxury cage free pet resort. We are located in between Koreatown and DTLA conveniently near the 10 fwy. We believe in treating every dog/cat that walks through our doors as one of our own.
We have top of the line ac units, an open floor plan and glass walls, where the dogs in daycare can be seen by customers. We spared no expense at providing the ultimate destination for pets in our area.
We are looking to build our team with people who are passionate about dogs and treat every pup as if they were their own.
Responsibilities:
- Memorize dog and customer names
- Maintain a clean and sanitary facility. This job requires diligence in cleaning up after the dogs and cleaning the facility so please do not apply if you do not like cleaning.
- Perform body checks of daycare and/or boarding dogs
- Moving dogs around the building, into and out of the play area
- Post pictures and videos on our Instagram and Facebook (must be comfortable with being on camera for photos, live streams or Youtube)
- Assist in other areas as needed such as, bathing, answering phones and anything else needed
Qualifications:
- Confident demeanor with can-do attitude
- Prior animal care experience required
- Spanish speaking a plus but not required
- Korean speaking a plus but not required
- Be comfortable with all breeds and sizes
- Must be able to stand, squat and kneel for long periods
- Be able to perform physical work and able to lift up to 50lbs
- Have knowledge of dog behavior and experience reading dog body language
- Must be a fast learner
- Must be able to multitask
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with other team members effectively
- Thrive under pressure while keeping your cool
- Must be good at taking direction
- Must have some computer skills (knowledge of pet industry software a plus
- Must be social media savvy
Job Type: Part-time
